The UP4HEALTH project recently participated in the third edition of NEXUS, held at Baluarte, aimed at enhancing collaboration between companies and agents of SINAI (Navarre’s R&D&I System). This event served as an excellent platform for connecting with European initiatives through pitching sessions, exploring potential consortium opportunities, and gaining insights into the European Commission’s work plan for 2025-2027.
Focusing on the recovery of valuable biomolecules from food processing by-products, UP4HEALTH attended to network with potential partners and share updates on ongoing project activities. The event highlighted the importance of creating robust partnerships among Navarre entities and European projects, showcasing success stories that span from project inception to securing funding.
The UP4HEALTH team seized the opportunity to engage with other SMEs, start-ups, and experienced organizations in European projects, discussing innovative approaches to sustainability and the circular economy. By fostering these connections, the project aims to strengthen the presence of Navarre in Europe while contributing to a more sustainable future through the effective recovery and utilization of food waste.
Through initiatives like NEXUS, UP4HEALTH continues to pave the way for collaborative efforts that address both industrial and consumer needs, driving forward the demand for natural and healthier products in a resource-limited world.
